Every 8 weeks like clockwork. I have a lot of highlights and the grey starts taking over if I don't have it done regularly. I really should go every 6 weeks but I stretch it out as long as I can because it is so expensive and time consuming. I get it trimmed while I am there.

I have super straight hair that is pretty much one length and it stays within an inch or two of my shoulders most of the time. Super simple. I am very low maintenance and can't stand to even have to dry my hair, much less style it! About 5 years ago I whacked it off to around my chin and had layers that kind of swept to the side. It was really cute but it drove me flippin crazy! I had those front pieces yanked back in a clip most of the time. That is when I decided I needed to go back to my basic do.

2-3 times per year. I would like to get it cut more often but it is hard to work around dh's schedule.

I've never had an extreme hair cut.

I get mine cut every 6 weeks...it's desperately needed by then. I have super short spiky hair. I love this style & also get lots of compliments on it.

About once a month since I have shorter hair and the most drastic would be when this girl cut it WAY WAY too short!

About once or twice a year. I have had shorter hair before, but when I was pregnant with DD#3, I knew that had to stop. I had to find ways to save money.

When I'm wearing it above the shoulders, I get it cut every couple of months. Then I get tired of having it short so I grow it out and get it trimmed only if the ends get bad. I rarely dry my hair or use any products that will dry it, so the bad ends trims can be a year apart.

My most extreme is when it gets long (within 3 or 4 inches of my waist) and I get tired of it, so I cut it above the shoulders again. I do that every couple of years.
