How is everyone doing? Looks like the forum has been a little slow lately. I hope that it is because everyone is out there exercising!!!

I know that I am kind of slacking lately and really need to get a big boost in the rear to get going! My will power seems to be dwindling down. I have been snacking on "non-healthy" things alot more lately. I know that mine is from stress. I an emotional eater. and when I am worried about things I tend to just eat whatever I want.

How is everyone else doing?

I'll chime in! I'm doing fine. Just that, not great, but not bad. I tend to weigh myself just about every day, even though I probably shouldn't. I just want to stay on top of this and not be SHOCKED if I happen to gain a puond or two a week. Anyway, I didn't lose last week, hence I didn't check in. This week so far I'm down about a pound and a half, probably since this weekend. I've been eating well and not snacking much. Trying to not eat of I'm not actually hungry. I know, imagine THAT!!! I actually haven't felt very hungry in the last few days....I don't know what's going on. Oh well, I'll take it. Oh, and I've lost 2 inches off my waist! I didn't do a baseline of anything else (measurements), but I'm feeling good about this so far. The whole exercise thing needs to be stepped up, and I know I can do it indoors, but I soooo want to go for a walk, but we're going on about day 6 or 7 of temps w/windchill below zero.

Enough excuses. I'll keep it up, hope to hear from more of you!! Have a good Tuesday:love:

I am kicking! I didnt work out ont he weekend, but monday and today I am really doing good, the weight s coming down, all beit slowly. I did the mens workout today on my DVD and my arms are sore, but look good!

Well, after this weekend- I have to admit i am almost back on the wagon. I have not eaten past 7:30 so far this week (ate at 8:00 on Sat. night), I ate horribly on Sunday- hopefully that will "rev up" my diet. I did not get a chance to exercise this weekend so I have been "trying" to get in as much as I was doing last week. I am getting a little frustrated though- I quit drinking Mt. Dew and thought that by doing that- it would help me lose a little bit more weight than what I have been (I used to drink like 1 glass of water and juice- then the rest of the day was a steady flow of Mt. Dew). I have been exercising a lot more than usual so I am hoping that I am gaining muscle so that I would not notice my weight dropping- don't know- we'll see when I start noticing my clothes being looser!

I started watching my friends 2 month old granddaughter (who, BTW, is spoiled and when she is awake wants held the whole time!) yesterday. So right now I am trying to juggle her "long" nap with exercise, housework and playing with my 3 y.o. so she does not get jealous of the baby. I am going to try to start waking up before my DH leaves the house to get some housework done and exercise (right now I am only getting in a half hour exercise and when I do dishes I do leg work and standing stomach things). I am so happy my kids are out of the infant stage- I love little babies but I have trouble sitting for an hour to feed 1 bottle-LOL !

stevesgal...thanks for reminding me why I don't want another baby! And I want my body back.

I forgot to weigh this morning. I've been doing OK (not great) on the diet. I'm kicking butt and taking names on exercising. I'm guessing I'm slimming down because I've gotten several compliments lately. I'm really working harder than I have in the past. I was measured at the beginning of January at Jazzercise. I'll be measured again in about 4 weeks. I plan on having lost a buttload (pun intended!) of inches!

I'm still here! I've been sick, but I am still on the right track. My exercising pretty much came to a screeching halt when I got sick, but I WILL get back to that. I have watched what I'm eating, and it's really becoming normal for me. I still log my food intake at sparkpeople every day - and that has continued to help. So I'm still here - motivated (but not yet a mommy!)

Still motivated, have been really good working out. Getting better on watching what I am eating. Still cant say I have noticed any real results yet hopefully soon though!

You will see them my friend....it's inevitable! Just stick to your plan...tough out the hard days, and go full out on the good days!!!

AND if it helps you at all, take before and monthly pictures to see even the slightest improvements....you won't see it with the naked eye....you have to see it in pictures as you progress along each month. I took "before" shots in September and I'm gearing up to do "mid way" shots the beginning of February. I know I've made some progress because my clothes fit better, but I want to see the inches lost!! I'm so excited! Give yourself something to look forward to too!

(**and what works great for me, as a constant reminder, is to post the "before" shots on my mirror. I have to see it every day...and that inspires me to stay on track**)
