I decided to just do it and got on the scale this morning. Drum roll please I LOST 5 lbs since the beginning of January. Not sure where it came off! So happy today!

I just jumped on the scale and it looks like I am the same as last week so.......

Januarys ToTaL is: 3 Pounds down! Not so bad at least it is not up!!

Now onto February! GO GO GO!!

This was my off diet week...eating pretty healthy, but not "dieting". I still lost 1 pound.
So...I am down 15 total. My hope is that next week, when I really get back into the dieting, my body will drop it like it did in the beginning and this will keep me from getting burned out.

Fantastic job, ladies!!!! I was up to 143 the middle of last week since I am doing so much emotional eating these days and although I didn't exercise at all this week, I am back down to 140.5 today!:yay!:

BTW, I refuse to change my ticker because I am hoping to be at least back to 139 by next week's weigh in!!!!

I was so surprised today when I got on the scale - I was down 2 pounds for a total of 6 pounds for the month of January! Yippee!

Well, this week I did not lose anything- but my total for January is 7 lbs! So that is fairly good for 1 month in my eyes! I am going to try to work up some momentum here and lose more than 7 for this month!

WOW! Everyone is doing GREAT! I am so excited for you all! We should have a tally of how much weight we've lost as a group! That would be so awesome to see! I bet its almost the weight of a child, if not an adult by now! Those pounds add up and its the lifestyle change that's important. I realized I don't have to eat salad for the rest of my life to be healthy so I'm just making better choices and trying to weed out the junky foods from our cupboards.

Well for me this week has been super busy so I was surprised that I lost anything! I am down 2 pounds so that makes a total of 18 lbs lost this month!! I am really happy with that and hope I can continue to lose at a steady rate so by summer I'll be in those size 12s!

Keep up the great work ladies!!!!!!!!! :yay!:

Way to go, everybody!!! :rah rah:

I have been sick this week. These cold/flu symptoms just will NOT go away! Anyway, I was surprised to see that I've lost 2 more pounds this week, bringing my January total to 17 pounds!

I have not yet noticed any change in the way clothes fit on me. But at my size, I'm not surprised about that. I'm looking at the BIG PICTURE right now. We just had a faculty group picture taken this month, and I told my dh that I want that to be my BEFORE pic!

Best of luck to all of you guys for the month of February!!!
