I got this short note from her today.

"We had an appt. yesterday and the doctor is sending us for another sonogram the day of the baby shower. She would NOT come out and say it, but she kept insinuating that he is big. She asked how big my biggest baby was so far, she commented on the great pelvis I have again, and she told us that she had delivered a 10 pound baby last weekend. When she said she was sending us for another sonogram, which is uncommon at this stage, she made a point of saying, "I don't want you to be concerned about the weight that shows up on the screen...sometimes that's not correct". My "great pelvis" feels like it's going to crack wide open. Otherwise, she said we both look really, really healthy and she's thrilled with the way things are going. His head is down, with his spine along the front of my right and his feet are frog style. Cool!! We'll see what she says...I need to keep him in there for as long as possible."

She is due the 20th of March...so this is TOO EARLY. Can you please keep her in your prayers...we can't wait for baby Kirby to get here, but not too soon!! (and on a side note...as a suprise to my sister, I am making a TEN hour drive home to attend her baby shower!!! No one but my dad knows that I am coming for five days!!!!! I am SO excited!)

If it helps- they told me that 2 of my boys were ging to be big becasue of the ultrasound pictures and they both come out smaller than they thought. One of them smaller by 2 lbs. and he was 8lbs 8 ozs. They thought he was going to be over 10 lbs.

Sending up a prayer, I had a sonogram about a month before I was due because of my size, I was induced 2 wks early. He only ended up being 9 lbs 4 oz.

Hope everything goes well, and Kirby holds out!! I am sure she will be really suprised!!! Hope you have a great mini vacation!!!

Just to add....her dh isn't the father of her first two girls..but HE was almost THIRTEEN pounds when he was born! OUCH!
