I have always tried to give praise and thanks to my God whenever things finally go right. So I thought I would start a thread so that people could give their praise report, even if it something small, to show others that God is still working in someones life. This thread is not meant to offend and is open for ALL religions, no matter what God you worship. If at anytime someone feels that tis thread is offensive, or something is wrong with it PLEASE tell me and I will delete it immediately.

I will start the list.

I was worried this morning about my heat not working and I knew that Dh wouldn't be home with the heater for sometime still and so I stopped and in my head said a short prayer that my kids wouldn't be cold. I prayed for God to keep them warm first because I could tolerate the cold and that I would even take on the cold that they felt. Well, only minutes later my heat kicked back on again and it's warming up nicely.

I thnk God every day that I was able to be given my beautiful children, and despite the fact they and I are ill now, that they are generally healthy and I can give them a decent life; better than I had, which was a huge goal for me.

Great idea! I didn't prepare well yesterday evening b/c I wasn't feeling good. This morning I was sure I would not have time to get everything done and still get to work on time, but through some miracle either time went slower or I went faster, and I got right out the door on time. And I had forgotten to write up interim reports for my class and I still was able to get them done on my break.

God is so good!

I had a set budget for groceries today, split up over 3 stores. I ended up spending more at Sam's b/c I had to renew my card (which I had forgotten). I was really sweating it b/c my list was already pretty bare bones to begin with, not much I could cut out. When I got into Target I ended up getting good deals and only ended up being $7 over budget instead of $40.

God is so good!

Dad signed up for Hospice two weeks ago. I thought he would not make it through the week. They gave him some medicine to help with his nausea and he feels much better. He's not as weak nd his appetite has improved. He's even able to stay by himself for short periods of time which is helpful to my Mom. Although I know he is not cured, I thank God that he is comfortable. Just goes to show that nothing is impossible with God.

My sister had a cervical cancer scare, but she went back in and everything is fine. Praise God. She and her husband are trying to have a baby, so thank the Lord, they will be able to keep on trying.

My dh told both girls they could go with me to Easter virgil. The problem is I am in the choir and can't sit with them. well, they of course being unsupervised were being disruptive. I could see them mostof the time but they didn't know I could see them. well as I was practically just about in tears b/c in order for me to go see them it would be very disruptive. at that time I said please God help me. just then they got up to go into the hall. I quick got up and went out to the hallway and caught them. we had a little chat and they were angels the rest of the night, all 2 hours left.

I had what had turned into a Loooong day yesterday...dd got sick, puked on the floor _I was getting a terrible headache etc.. But when I logged on here last night Klippy left me an awesome thread in the kitchen chat...which was topped off by some really great responses...and I got a few really great emails yesterday from some "buddys".

Sometimes it's just the small gestures people make that can have the biggest impact-I'm so grateful for so many here
