Girls thank you all so much for you thoughts and prayers and positive thoughts for me today. You are a powerful lobby and I want to tell you, you rock!

I had my court order hearing looking for a restraining order agains James after last Fridays post.

I was nervious, (apart from parking fines Im never in that end of the court and its a little bit daunting)

the long and the short of it the Judge exceeed my expectations. I have a restricting order against James valid until August 9th (these things have a lifespan)

He has been ordered to come no closer than the public footpath outside our home and not to step inside my front garden gate. Id have been happy with that

however he also tacked on similar order to my Moms home, and he is only allowed to wait 10 mins for the children outside either home and he is not allowed to sit and watch either home (something he would do)

I feel llike there is 10 tonnes weight lifted off my shoulder and I know the prayers and good wishes helped me through the stress of this morning (I had to take the morning off an new job Yuck !)

So we will have temporary peace because the judge also ordered that if I called the police in the interm James will go to the cells.

Anne, I am so glad you are getting some protection against this mad man! What are your options after this things expires? IT doesn't seem like it's in place for too long?

Christy is ok, its only an interim "cool down" order. It has to be ratified by a court appearance by both parties.

In fariness the initial order would be an undefended one (any party could bring it) and I could be the biggest "fruit loop" on the planet as far as the court is concerned. They will need to take evidence to prove what the inititator (me) is saying is true before they give an order with a longer life.

standard procedure over here and Im not too worried about it, Im sure I can have it continued if necessary

When I saw the angry face it worried me. Thought you already had bad news. Glad it's just a glitch. Congrats on the restraint. Hope he cools off and makes life for you easier.
