mentally,I mean........

just curious I guess...

for me -I laugh.I have to try to make it fun.

I met my Mom for lunch the other day at a nicer sit down restaurant and ordered my usual salad...which they make a really good one so I was ok with that...

however...

while sitting there grazing here comes a waitress accross the room with a huge tray of food ...I swear all 8 people at the other table ordered the sandwiches and fries with ya know "gravy over all" in a sick conspiracy with high hopes of seeing me crack...(poeple are cruel that way ya know)and all I could think was ..."Dear God...if she trips...please let at least one of those plates hit me squarely in the face!"

To accidentally taste a fry with some gravy on it under such circumstances wouldn't be cheat.....................

would it???????????

Are you reading my dreams? That would be something that I would wish for!!

To control my binges I tell myself that I will be in front of hundreds of people in July and October for 2 weddings. The thought alone makes me cringe and to be overweight and not feel good about myself makes it even worse!

Just keep telling yourself that one slip up will lead to more and that is not what you want...right?

Focus, focus, focus!

i eat several small meals a day to keep my blood sugar level. my biggest hurdle is night time snacking, so i usually have hot tea and popcorn with whatever i'm watching on tv. dieting is especially difficult when you are at home all day.

if you feel like you're going to cheat--brush your teeth or pop an altoid. the minty goodness tricks your mind.
