You are so not alone! I think we all feel that way at sometime or another in our lives. Life gets so busy when you have kids. My kids are almost 9, 11 1/2 and step twins who are 17. FInding time for just me is difficult, I try to go for a walk, read a book or something like that., even to go to the mall and just mosey through. I sometimes feel like I am in such a hurry I can not enjoy things. I am working hard at finding Me and time for Me.

With this post in mind and feeling lost for so long now myself I made a big step! I am finding me. I'm signing up at Curves (trying hard to lose weight atm) and I am going to focus on me for 30 mins 3 days a week. I talked to DH and he is going to watch the kids so I can! I can't wait to start!

Ok, it sounds funny or maybe just sad, but I take a book and lock the door when I go to the bathroom. Even though most of the time, I get inturrupted by someone knocking, I get 2 minutes to myself and can get lost in another world.

Or, I give myself a time out to take a nap. Put on a video and start to teach your kids that mommy needs some quiet time. It may take several weeks to build up to 30 minutes, but your kids can learn to occupy themselves and let you have a break.

Keep posting here and let us know how you all are doing!

Does anyone have any real good hobbies or something ??!! I need some real motivation because as I said before "I'm so not sure what I would like anymore." I used to do scrapbooking but it seems like everytime I get my stuff out I have a dozen hands helping me and it seems worthless to do after everyone goes to bed. Then I'm up forever and cranky in the morning Anywho.....I'm glad I have somewhere to vent and get some ideas from all of you.

Thanks!!!

Kim

I have a garden. It just has not been easy b/c my 18 mo dd wants to do everything I do so if I am pulling weeds, she is pulling anything and everything! She walks all over everything and plays in the dirt. I tried to make a corner just for her but she wants to me right next to me helping and copying everything I do. It's cute at times, but it's been getting very annoying. I am excited for the fruits of my labor and aggravation though!
In the winter, I got nothing though.

Is there life out there
So much she hasn't done
Is there life beyond
Her family and her home
She's done what she should
Should she do what she dares
She doesn't want to leave
She's just wonderin
Is there life out there

She's always lived for tomorrow
She's never learned how
To live for today
She's dyin' to try something foolish
Do something crazy
Or just get away
Something for herself for a change

There has been many a day I have stud starring out my front door holding my baby boy and hmming this song.

Sad, I wouldn't change anything or give up a single part of my life but I can't help but feel like this sometimes.
