Hi Gals!

Let's just jump right in...

Todays topic is

How can you incorporate more exercise into your daily routine?

Let's hear what you already do, and things you could do.....

ETA: If you join in late, no worries...the topics are in red and PLEASE add in your answers and thoughts, I know I refer to the discussion threads even after they're done and over and I'm sure many others do as well!

The easiest thing I can think of and I try to do it whenever possible is while running errands....Try and park a further (and still safe!) distance from the door....You get in some extra walking, and while you're in the store, if you have the time, take an extra lap around it (If it's Target, jsut keep your head down to resist the extra buys )

I'm here finally! I do leg lifts and squats while brushing my teeth and doing dishes. I also do crunches while there is a commercial break when I am watching tv (when DH is not around!).

I do that too...crunches or squats...and also while Dh is not around

Hey girls I'm here. My boys have been into swimming as of late and since we belong to the Y we have been catching open swim. I have been walking and swimming laps around the pool pulling Josh around. He has fun and I get a bit of a workout.

I have also been known to do some wall push ups (or counter to make it a little harder on myself) while cooking dinner (Like waiting for something to boil) ...Good arm workout!

I like to multi task as well- for instance- right now as I am typing- I will take a little break and lift a spoonful of cereal into my mouth (honey bunches of Oats of course!)! I ran a bunch of errands today and did not feel like making anything healthy to eat- so at 3:00 when I need to make supper I won't be hungry to eat at 4:00!

When I actually get around to putting away laundry, I don't bring the basket with me now...I leave it in a room and take whoevers clothes out of it then have to go back for the other persons (ie, if I take DD I then have to go back for DS clothes even though their rooms are right next to each other and it's "easier" to not go back....It's a few extra steps...a few of them can add up to many by the end of the day!
