How did everyone do this week?
I had an icky headache for most of the week and barely exercised, I also ate terribly a few days and guess what- I still maintained- Thank God! I have one of those headaches where you basically can't be standing or it starts to throb, and certain smells drive it nuts too! So far so good today- now pounding head!

Are you drinking enough water? Sometimes when you are overly dehydrated and it's way hot outside, your body can react that way. Try to up your water intake and see if that helps. Hang in there.
I have had a great week. My sick bug has passed and I have been more active. I have run 12 miles this week (and then three miles at nine am this morning). The weather has been great too; not too hot, not too cold and a little overcast a few days. Perfect running weather!
I tried to do some ab exercises in front of the TV last night but the boys thought I was trying to wrestle with them...so we did that instead! (I won by the way!!! )
Next week is a busy busy week for me and my MOMS Club so I HOPE I can squeeze in a few runs when I can!
Hope everyone is having a good week. DON'T FORGET ABOUT OUR CHAT SESSIONS. Please PM your WOB and remind her to vote for a date and time for our next chat!!!!!!

Stevesgal I am sorry you have felt so crappy this week! I really hope you can lose that headache soon. But yay for maintaining during a tough week. Your body is a machine, girl. You have been taking care of it for at least the 6 or 7 months that I have "known" you and a week off isn't going to be so bad every now and then. I have been experiencing the same thing - I have maintained for the second week in a row and I am pretty amazed that I haven't gained. I have been exercising every day (even this morning at 6:30 after 5 hours of sleep since my little one decided to get up and play for 2 hours in the middle of the night ) so that is helping me, I know, but I have been eating too many calories because I have had to go out to eat a LOT the last couple of weeks. We have had a lot of social stuff going on this month and have been out of town a good bit too. Too many cocktails! This week I vow to do better with my food. I still want to lose a few pounds by the end of the summer!

Good morning,
this is my first weigh in, and I am at 131.8. My goal is 120 and I have a sub-goal to get there by end of August.
I really really really need to start exercising, that's my goal for this weekend.!!

Its been raining this week, I really haven't got the exercise in that I normally do so the scale reflects it. I am going on vacation next week and hopefully that will be a positive thing because we have so many activities planned.

I went to Weight Watchers this morning. They have a kid friendly meeting at 10:30 in the next town over!! I lost 3.6 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy to see i had lost.
I really think buying the 100 calorie snacks packs, fat free pudding and the WW ice creams have helped me so much. I get my treats for very low points. It's working!!!

Hello...I am checking in a little late but better late then never, right.
I had a really good week...it made up for only maintaining last week. I am down 3 more pds....makes it a total of 33.
I was surprised because we went out to eat like three times last week. I just made good choices.
So I am trying to lose atleast another 10lb by Aug. 20th. This is when I will go on the maintance part of the diet program I am on.
it is good timing because we will just be getting back from vacation and the kids will be going back to school.
I am worried about keeping on my diet when we go on vacation. I hope I don't screw up and can stick to it. We are going to my sisters in Alabama so it is not like we are going on a cruise or anything...
My youngest dd will be starting pre-k 4. This will be the first time all my kids will be in school. It is only til 12:00 but I will actually be able to have 4 hours in the AM to exercise by myself!Yeah.
My girlfriend and I plan on walking the causeway....it is the only hill in Florida...lol.

Sticking to your routine is difficult on vacation....however, the plus side is, typically when you're on vacation you're on the GO GO GO all the time (if you have vacations like we do) so as long as you stay active and busy you are burning calories. HOWEVER that does not mean you can overindulge of course! When you do eat, make sure you are still making healthy choices. If you stop at fast food restaurants while driving, they now have healthier options too: grilled chicken sandwiches, salads, yogurts, fresh fruit. So take advantage of those options

I know it's monday, but after a weekend of zero workouts (aside from a lot of walking around san antonio) and deliciously terrible for you food, I managed to be one poud less this morning. So for my very first mommysavers weigh in, on my home scale, i weighed 129. Goal is to be 120 by September first. Possible....working out 5-6 days every week til then. We will see. So far, today, at 550 calories after i eat my apple in a couple hours...trying to stay under 1200, doing great at it, but need to sweat a tad more... good luck this week ladies, my goal is to be 127 by friday....
