1.) There is a membership fee (only a one-time thing), at mine it was $150 I think. I'm not sure because sometimes they run deals and you get a discount. I got in without paying the fee. At mine if you sign up in July you pay half and this month is free.
2.) There is a monthly fee. At mine it is $34. They take it out of your checking account unless you pay cash before your due date (the date you signed up! So easy to remember)
3.) You get weighed, measured and your body fat taken the day you sign up. Then the next time you come an instructor will go aroung with you to show you how to use the machines. Which is nice if you don't know what you're doing when you 1st get there. You get weighed and measured once a month.
4.) At ours it is 2 and a half times around. The machines are really easy. There aren't any weights so you don't have to worry about hurting yourself by trying to do too much or not getting results because you're not working hard enough. It all depends on how fast you move. It goes by pretty fast because you're talking and your not at a machine long enough to get really tired... but don't get me wrong you are working out.
5.) All the ladies are very encouraging, and at ours they run drawings and stuff to win t-shirts and stuff.
6.) No men are there. You don't have to worry about everyone else being skinny either. There are many different stages of fittness there. I really didn't want to feel like I was the only one who should be there, and I don't.
7.) 30-35 min. a day and a least 3 times a week is recommended.
My thighs havn't looked this good in a long time, my arms were getting to the point that they were starting to jiggle, but curves put an end to that. I really think it works just about everything. Then you stretch and that feels so good.
Does any of that help?
