Default Trying to jumpstart a morning routine

I used to get up during school and walk before the kids got up and dh left for work. I sort of got lazy and out of the habit and am trying to do it again. For the past two weeks I have been walking 2 miles every morning and this morning I walked 3! YIPPEE!

I have been taking our little dog with us, too. She is gaining weight now that we are not walking to school every morning. She loves it! I am trying to keep her quiet because she is making so much noise when I start to get dressed from her excitement!

You've inspired me! This is what I was doing when the kids were in school, and for the first couple of weeks they were off, I was still getting up and walking 3-4 times a week. However, as the summer has progressed, it has been harder to keep up amd I've gotten lazy and can feel the weight coming back on. I am getting up early tomorrow and going walking!
