O.K., I'll go first. I have to confess that I have completely let my workout buddy down (Karen aka Sunburn107) and have not been in contact with her for quite some time.

I have wrapped myself in a protective layer of emotional eating for the past couple months and while I'm not gaining anymore, I am losing and gaining back the same 2-3 lbs. I lost 35 lbs. last year with 8 to go. I am up 12 lbs from then and now have 20 to go and that seems so much more overwhelming than the 40+ I had to lose before. I haven't met any of the goals I set with Karen except that I bought a dress that hid my flaws and played up my best parts for my DH's graduation from the Fire Academy. I even searched and looked for dresses that came in Small, Medium and Large so I could just get a medium and not have to face the fact that I am up two sizes from where I was.

I am overwhelmed with our finances, trying to be everything for everyone, keep my house, work 2+ jobs not to mention the whole emotion that came with my son being in Iraq and coming home. I am back to the same bad habits and just can't seem to dig down and get myself back on track so I just ignore it and anything that pertains to my weight and exercise. I haven't clicked on the Health, Fitness and Weight Loss section in awhile and just avoid it everytime I'm on Mommysavers.

Now, I just have to find out how to get back to that focus I had last year. Ultimately, I know it has to come from inside me.

Thank you for your honesty. I'm sure your WOB appreciates that. At the same time, let's get you back on track and keep you motivated! Life can certainly hand us a bunch of "stuff" all at once can't it? If we keep things in perspective we can definitely work through the stuff and keep ourselves on task too. We're here to cheer your on and build you up! Come here when you need us!

We have weekly discussions we'd love for you all to join too...when you see the thread started, pitch in with your ideas, experiences, thoughts, complaints, suggestions, etc. We want it to benefit everyone...and to remind you that we have your best interests at heart here!

I can honestly say Lisa, my WOB has been a great resource for me. I am an amateur runner and she's been so patient with me as I pick her brain for tips on how to run longer and make it less INTENSE. Thanks Lisa!

I too must admit that I have became lax about checking in with my work out buddy and being supportive. School started again, kids dance classes, etc, etc...all excuses. I'm still working out, but not daily like I was over the summer, usually 4-5 times per week, and often times not as intense as I had been. I haven't gained any weight, but I haven't lost any either. I have a big homecoming/college reunion coming up exactly one month from now, and I would really like to lose those last 10 pounds before going. I'm having massive trouble with time management, between school (work), kids, house, friends, family...I'm exhausted! The past two Friday nights I have fallen asleep by 9:00 on my couch! I would very much like to start checking in with my workout buddy again...maybe we can both start to motivate and support each other again!

Life does get in the way...and especially this time of year when our kids' activities schedules get thrown in the mix too. We just need to keep our goals forefront and try and make some time for us!!!

There's no shame in that girl....we are all moms here and completely understand what it's like to be busy. But now that we're finding a new fall rhythm let's also schedule some "me" time and take care of ourselves too!

Amy and I speak on a weekly basis. We have our weigh ins set for Fridays and then we let eachother know how we did and we update eachother on our week. I have to say that knowing that I have to tell Amy about my week keeps me motivated.

Well, onto my news and progress... Today is Friday, hence, weigh in day. Well I just got in from my WW meeting and I am very proud to announce that I lost another 1.6 lbs over the last week. That brings my total to 57.4 total pounds since mid Dec and I am proudest to announce that I am offically a member of "One"derland again!!!!! I am 198.6. I bid the 200's good-bye and pray to never vist there again!
