I was watching the today show this morning and I heard this lady on there say this...

The more you walk the more your muscles call in oxygen and the more oxygen in your body the more calories you burn.

I knew walking burned calories but I never heard of it put that way before.Just though it was a neat saying.

I am going to even try to get in some nice deep breaths today!

Guess that is why they say 'The breath is the most important part' when doing yoga.

Yes, that is why fitness instructors always are telling you the breathe during exercises.

Breathing is very important when you are exercising. It helps when you run too. I can go farther, quicker if I get my breathing pattern down...

Well, I've always heard or been told to keep breathing but never really new for what reason, just knew it was good for your body while working out. It wasn't long ago, maybe a couple months that I just heard it on a fitness show I was watching, and I was also reading an online article about it and that is how I found out.. so your not alone..
