Funny - I sent this to a couple of my best girlfriends from high school (catholic, all girl) and they are raising their families catholic. Both of them came out as liberal Quaker as #1, Universalist/Unitarian was somewhere in their top 4, and Catholic was in the bottom 2. They think the questions aimed at homosexuality/abortion and divorce/role of women is what consistently puts Catholicism at the bottom of the heap, as most Catholics don't agree with the church's stance on all of those.

Yup, I think it pulls the "ideal" of each religion, hence the percentages of "matching". If you follow most of the tenants of the church/religion then the higher your percentage.

I've only read about Buddhism a little bit, and I have no idea what Theravada means, but every single time I've taken the quiz, it's #1. I supposed I should start reading about it....

And I have NO idea what Liberal Quaker is Suppose it wouldn't hurt me to look that up too!

Richard Nixon was a Quaker. I have a friend who is Brethren -- an offshoot of Quaker. Just Google Quaker and you'll get the web site. Not Quaker Oats though!

No surprise that my results came in as:

Reform Judaism 100%
Orthodox Judaism 96%
Islam 94%

Everything else came in at less than 25%. That makes perfect sense to me, I'm Jewish...lol
