I don't count that much. I have about 5 lbs I want to loose and for a while I was keeping a food journal. Boy, that was the wrong thing to do! I was more hungry and ate more, I guess because I was thinking about what I ate, maybe.. {shrug}

For me, the best way to feel less hungry is to eat 3 meals a day.

I absolutely despise counting calories! I don't do it. I try to eat lots of fruits and veggies, I do better with fruits than with veggies though. I try not to eat too many carbs, but my kids are pasta fiends, so we generally have that a few times per week. I do read labels, I am attempting not to buy anything with high fructose corn syrup and I also try to buy as much natural type food as possible.

I am on WW and have been on for about 10 months now. Yes It was a pain in the but in the begginning and I have had a few slip-ups but now, I have to sawe that Ipretty much know what a portions size looks like and I can guestimate the points value within a point or two of what an entire meal is. I also use an Internet site called Sparkpeople.com. It is FABULOUS! It is a weight loss site.
You have your personal profile page with a pic gallery, blog, area for goals, a comment ares, kind of like MySpace, but not for kids. Then there is a fitness area to trrack your cardio & strength training. You can set it up for what days you want to do cardio and what days you wnat to do strengtyh training. On the training days is gives you exercises to do in your house. It also has a nutrition tracker. You input what you have eaten (almost everything is in there, if you you can manually add it and then it will always be there) It gives you the cal, carb, fat & protein amount for what you ate and keeps a running total. It also tells you what range you need to be in to lose weight. And it gives you a goal (a realistic goal) for your weight. there are also message boards too. I really like it.
You can check out my page at ... my.sparkpeople.com/heatherny
or the web site at.... sparkpeople.com

Sorry to babble so much.
