Those are great! LOL, I could have used them all week.

I've been dealing with two friends with man problems all week, and well, I'm about to tell them not to ask me for advice if they aren't going to listen and then wonder why things didn't go like I said they should - DUH! You didn't DO what I said to do! (And yes, they SPECIFICALLY asked me for "advice", not to vent. And then they did the complete opposite...and things are worse.)

People are silly

I offer advice if asked for. Same with my opinion on something. I don't always feel the need to be heard...nor do I want to push my thoughts, opinions, beliefs, political views, religious beliefs on anyone else. However, if someone asks me for advice or wants my opinion (yesterday's thread) on something, they will get it UNCENSORED. I don't try and hurt peoples' feelings so I am try and deliver it tactfully and sympathetically if I KNOW it's not something they want to hear...but for the most part, it's truthful and honest...and if asked for, that's what you get! What you do with that info is up to you! LOL

Same here, only I'm probably not as tactful or nice when I say things. It's a work in progress.

I go through that with my sister ALL the time. She will call ASK for my advice, I will give it to her. She won't like it, we will argue. Then she will call two weeks later and go "you were right, I should have listened to you". Well, duh??

I have to say this is the best quote!! for me especially after I asked for advice. Sometimes it is just nice to hear what you already know...it is a confirmation of your feelings?!

If they disagree....that is where the trouble lies....that is when "arguments" start.
