I just got a pretty NASTY PM telling me that my quotes are upsetting some people.

That is truly NOT my intention.

I have been posting quotes in this forum for quite some time now. And I am not sure why the ones from the past two days are getting attention.

If you are upset with me or my quotes. Please PM me or post here.

I would hate to not have the opportunity to set the record straight. And I would hate to upset peolple. So I can just do away with posting quotes all together. If that is what you all prefer.

I don't know anything about what quote got who upset, but it seems that anymore people on this board are mad more than they are not. It's sad really. I wouldn't stop doing your quotes. I'm sure there are many people that like to read them.

Stacey, do not stop doing your job just because someone disagrees with you. Lately it seems some people should SERIOUSLY Stop and think BEFORE they post or PM things.
Perhaps that PMer read something into the quotes that she didn't like about herself and decided to take it out on you,...there could be a myriad of explanations but do not let it stop you from doing your job.

As I always say...no one is forcing you to read what someone else posts...If you don't like it...move along

I never understood how anyone could get mad at a post. Usually I dont read these threads but for some reason I opened this one. If somebody doesnt like what someone wrote or somehow gets offended -- close the thread and move on. This is an internet website. The majority of the people on the board do not know eachother personally, live in different states and will never meet anyone who posts here. So what in the world is there to take offense about? So much wasted energy on words on a computer screen.

Just had to stick in my two cents... keep posting whatever it is you were posting!

AND FURTHERMORE...I have just started reading these quotes and think they are thought provoking and good starters for deep conversation....I'm sorry that I am only discovering them now.

I too enjoy reading the quote and then looking to see what kind of thoughts come from the members on the board. I really enjoy reading the different interpretations of it, but do NOT in any way find them offensive. I have learned over the years that people look through TAINTED glasses and read into something that may not be there becuase they can't get BEYOND themselves or their own circumstance. SOmething completely innocent as a quote should not in any way be considered something worth receiving nasty PMs about.

Whoever the PM'er is, really needs to look inside herself and find out why a quote would trigger such a negative response. It's not you Stacey, it's that person's perspective. It's sad really....really really sad to see that this person has so much hurt and hate in her heart!

Some of you may think it was me who sent her this PM- I did not. I have never PM'ed her ever. I would like to clarify that. I, too, feel that this is a public place- it is a place where EVERYONE should be able to post their opinions and what so ever with out getting "called out upon" because that's all it is here- OPINIONS and thoughts of peope who live different lives, have different beliefs and live totally different ways to do things- Just being here alone means that everyone has to accept that. I don't think bucsnpats needs to stop doing anything- I am sure some of you out there believe that it was me sending her PM's and it was not...
