You are so sweet for remembering. Sorry I did not get a chance to post sooner - had company in for a late Xmas gathering and then with New Years. Anyways.
The race went GREAT!!! I ran it in 27 mins 40 seconds - which was 1 minute faster than my race in November. I was (am still am) excited about it! The weather was cold but at least it was not snowing or icy out. It was neat running through the park with all the holiday lights on but I had a hard time really paying attention to them as I was pushing really hard!
I'm looking at running another one on Jan. 13th. I want to build my stamina up to a 10K -- maybe later this year!
