ok for about the last week or so I have been going to bed about 10pm but not falling asleep till 11:30. to sum up my situation, i've been a sahm for about 2 mos., get up about 7 each morning, have tried to get up at 6 or 6:30 (used to wake a 5 for work) but just can't, my dogs usually wake me up or my 16 mo. boy; i want to get up before the kids and get to sleep at a decent hour, any suggestions?

to help you sleep (and I can be a bad sleeper when Im stressed)

Drink Camomile tea (you might need to do this for three nights before it kicks in)

Take Valerian tablets (harmless and you will get them in the health shops)

switch of TV, DVDs for about an hour before you go to bed. (gives brain waves a chance to settle particlarly if your watching the News or action films)

can you u play a cd with either soft music or sounds. I have a cd with the sounds of waves, wind chimes or streams it all helps to unwind

good luck with this it horrible when you cant sleep and everyone round out can

thanks-hope something works cause i don't want to try a sleep aid pill; we're trying to cut down our t.v. time all around; my husband thinks its because i drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning, i tell him "if i'm staying home w/ the kids, i need it!!!"

nope coffee doesnt do it, with two kids you should be zonked out almost before you hit the pillow!
