For those who are not country music fans, there is a song by Brad Paisley and in it he talks about if he could write a letter to himself(present day) to himself at age 17, what would he tell himself? I thought this would be a good topic, what would you tell your 17yr old self about life so far? I would tell my 17 yr old self this:
1- take your education more seriously
2- not having a boyfriend is not the end of the world
3- you can't please everyone so stop worrying about what they think of you and just be you!
4- appreciate your grandparents, they won't live forever
5- don't rush into marriage
6- keep laughing- there will be days when you it's all you have to keep you going
7-You're stronger than you think you are
8- to be continued

Learn how to manage your money and save whenever you can
Take your education seriously
Enjoy being young and don't be in such a rush to grow up
You don't have to do everything your friends do (this will come in handy when they're all getting married and you're just not quite ready yet!)

oh another good one.............be careful how you treat people in high school, they just might end up being your brother or sister in law someday. One of the girls i never got along with in high school ended up being my SIL.
