THIS IS A MULTIPLE ANSWER POLL!

I like to listen to my MP3 player if I am running outside. If I am at the gym I like to watch Ellen or read if I am on the recumbent bike!

Where did you all go?

I remember when I first started my working out journey, I'd bring a couple of magazines to read while on the elliptical. But now that I'm kicking it big time, I don't have time to even think about looking at a magazine while doing cardio (let alone the coordination since I'm moving so fast).

mp3 player! I love listening to music while I do cardio. My gym has little tvs on all of the machines but I find that I slow down if I am watching tv or reading. The only way I can stay at a fast pace is if I am listening to music. And when I am outside I really love listening to music - it keeps my pace. I can walk 4 miles in 50 minutes with my music and if I don't have it, it takes me about 15 minutes longer to do the same distance.

Mp3. I find that the music gets me moving! I couldn't do it without it.

Mp3 player makes me move faster

I have a recumbant bike, so I read. If I have nothing available to read, then I watch TV as DH set up a TV in my office just for the bike. Then I do an aerobics video, so I can't really do anything except try to figure out the tango & mamba (I bought a latin dance one).

I listen to my MP3 and people watch

I answered watch tv and other. I don't have an MP3 player for myself. My children each have one and my husband has one (that currently isn't working)... but poor ole mom just has a CD player which does play MP3s.
