I guess this was my point and my big frustration. I am a "thin" person. I am a size 4. I work out a LOT. I feel great in my clothes. But I am just so uncomfortable in a bathing suit. I wish I could get over it. I feel like they are so revealing. There are some body parts I have no problem showing off, but others that I really would like to cover. I can't seem to find a suit that shows off the good parts and hides the bad ones!

Yeah, if the bathing suit is modest and I'm planning to go into the water. I won't wear a bathing suit just to walk around in like on a hot, humid day.

I feel like I look okay in a bathing suit. Or maybe I just feel like since I'm either lifeguarding, training for a triathlon, or competing in a race that it doesn't matter how I look!

Finding the right suit for your body type makes a BIG difference. I have to have plenty of butt coverage! I will probably never feel 100% confident but I've made peace with it and am pretty comfortable.

Heck no! I have lost a lot of weight since last year- but when the thought of swim suit season again- I dread it! I truly would like to lose about 30 lbs before this upcoming season then maybe it won't be so bad (then again that would probably be in a modest swim suit with a cover up!). Then again I have issues with "negative body image"!

Seriously, I haven't worn a bathing suit in YEARS, just because I can't find one that is flattering. (one or two piece)

Does anyone else think that Target has the WORST lighting in their dressing rooms? Wow, it's unflattering! Last summer I went in there with about 15 bathing suits and came out with nothing. That stunk!

If anyone can recommend a great swimsuit that hides muffin tops and thunder thighs, please let me know.

I look back and could just kick myself for not appreciating what I HAD then!! LOL
I could wear a bikini and not even think twice about it...now, I have to layer up with a skirt, or wrap or sheet!

I was in Dillards last year looking for a suit, and I really liked the "christina" line. They had nice full piece suits that help to flatter your favorite body parts and conceal the ones you don't like!
