okay, i admit i have a problem. i've just finished another bag of candy by myself, the second this week. i feel really bad. but i wanted candy, and it was on sale, and i needed to buy some for the egg hunt... it's so hard to resist. what do you do to stop yourself from eating all day? every time i'm in the house, i want a snack..... even if i'm not hungry.

i really don't wan to become diabetic, how can i stop eating junk? i wish my problem was i was eating too many apples. when i was pregnant, i used to go through apples like... well, like candy. but now, i just want actual candy and sweets.

When I start craving food I shouldn't or just want to munch on something, I drink a glass of water. That will normally fill me up to where I do not want anything else.

I love candy too. What works for me is keeping a food journal. I have been doing it for about a year and a half now and it has helped me to lose over 30 pounds. When I eat candy I just make sure to write it down and then I know how many calories I have left for the day. I give myself 1600 cal. a day and if 300 if those calories are wasted on candy, I just have to make sure I cut back in other areas so I don't go over my limit.

I love candy too. I sometimes decide how much I'm going to eat and set it aside. When it's gone then I'm done. It doesn't always work, but if I know how much I can have I tend to enjoy it more and not feel deprived.

I love candy also and have found that if I plan to use it in something like brownies or cookies I won't eat it plain. Other than that, I just can't have it in the house. If I want candy, when I'm in town I will get a single serving.
