I called our doc about Zach's tests. I initially didn't think anything about the three to six month time line he put on the next batch of tests until reading the responses so I went and asked more questions. His reasoning for that was that 1) he could quite literally grow out of it (he was "just barely positive for lupus") and his hope is that his levels will have a chance to change in six months, versus next week and 2) if it was the result of a bad test, we have nothing to fear, so instead of taking him in every month, he wants to give it some time and take him in. He sounded like it wasn't anything to worry about (yet), and like me isn't quite sure "lupus" is fitting the symptoms, but we both can't deny the result so we're being cautious and will follow up and continue to monitor him until the next test.
And honestly, I have been reading quite a bit and I am not convinced that the symptoms ds has, fit Lupus. Some do, yes, but not more than two!!! So please keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer for him. These next six months will go by SO SLOWLY!
I appreciate all the kind words girls! Thank you. It's been a crazy week.
