I did for a couple years in high school and college. Dh made me quit when we had our first miscarriage (not for that reason alone). Both parents smoke, or smoked, (dad has lung cancer, mom quit then started again but not as frequent). We don't allow it in our vehicles or in the house.

I can honestly say I tried it when I was in 10th grade, but never took a liking to it, so my answer is no. My DH smoked for quite a few yrs., but he quite cold turkey and it has been 15 yrs. now. It's a good thing he did our DD is allergic to cigarette smoke.

Never have. Both of my in-laws did but quit. My FIL quit about 20 years ago I think and my MIl quit in the last 10 years. Not sure where she's at.

I started smoking at 17 and tried numerous times to quit. Dh quit about 7 years ago and nagged and nagged me. Well when I got pregnant with ds, it just worked that time. I had a reason. So I have been smoke free for almost 6 years!!!!!! The only downfall is that every time I tried to quit I gained at least 10 lbs. and never took it off.

My mom smokes like a chimney. I try not to complain but she is an inconsiderate smoker. Which is very annoying. But she's my mom.

My father stopped for several years but he has picked up again. Last year, my brother age 49, a big smoker, had a major heart attack (with no health insurance). About $75,000 worth of hospital bills and about $500.00 a month worth of medication inspired him to quit! He went cold turkey and completely changed his diet and exercise routin. He's doing great! Minus the large bills.

I do not smoke.
