Default Question for all of those who workout

Hi everyone.
About 8 weeks ago, I started working out at a gym 5 days a week. I do resistance(weight) training with a trainer for 2 hours a week and do 3.25 hours of cardio a week. My trainer was working me really hard today and towards the end of my session I felt super nauseous and I became dizzy. I've never been that close to passing out before. I ate about 2 hours before working out and I thought I was fine. The trainer said it was low blood sugar. Have any of you experienced this before?

It's quite normal, especially when you are new to exercising. It's really about how your blood is rushing to and from your head with all the physical exertion you are releasing and engaging in. The key is to take it slow. Make your movements slow......and controlled...don't force them out and odn't be too quick. When you release the weights, bend at the knees and come up slowly.....


and stay plenty hydrated.

I agree with all of what Christy said - keep the water flowing while you are exercising. Before working out have a glass of water, drink more while working out and then again after you are done. Make sure you eat some protein & complex carbs when you are done working out to help rebuild your muscles.
