When we dream. Though we've talked about "stuff" sometimes being unecessary in our lives and how important it is to make room for essentials...what is ONE thing you wish you could have and why? Make this about yourself. I know its hard to be a mother at times and focus on only us, even hypothetically!


I'd LOVE to have lots of land with horses. I've quit riding for over seven years and I wish I could go back. I miss the feeling of being out on trail, the smell of the hay, even the smell of horse poop! I know it'd be easy for me to lease a horse and ride again, but I someday wish to have one of my own.

I'm kinda right there with you. If money didn't matter I would have a huge farm! I would love for my son to grow up on a farm where time moves slower and you get to know nature and have time for the land, the animals and each other.

That and I would love to be able to travel... everywhere. I would love to be able to go to foreign lands and experience people and places different from here in the states.

If money wasn't a concertn with obtaining what I want, I'd love a house right on the beach. The water has always had a soothing quality for me; the crashing sound against the surf and the feel of the sand underneath my feet. I live near the beach (about a 20 minute ride) and get there as much as I can. I even enjoy walking on the beach in the cooler weather. Just being able to walk along the surf, collect shells or sit and think has always been a favorite past-time. But, actually being able to walk out my door onto the sand would be heaven!

I would move to Scotland and buy a good sized acreage. I would love to live there.

I'd love to just downsize everything to have a small little house on a beach somewhere....and all we owned were beach chairs, and bathing suits!

What about an endless supply of margaritas??!! That would make your idea complete, IMO!!

to live in a grass hut on a white sandy beach in fiji, sipping mai-tai's served by muscular tanned men ( in their 20's)....anyone want to join me? pull up a chair and do not forget your sunscreen.( i will supply the umbrellas and the ice).

I would love to buy some land by a Lake with lots of room. And then I would get a nice ski boat so I can teach my kids how to ski and take them fishing on the lake. We would go water skiing as often as we want. We went all the time when I was growing up and I miss those days.I love the water.

We would live in a log cabin in the mountains that was totally off-grid for power and water. Lots of land, so DH could have a private airstrip for his plane, and we could hunt on our own land. A few chickens, maybe. And I would be taking piano lessons and having a private tutor teaching me to read/write/speak Chinese.
