Is there something you have changed about yourself either to make yourself feel better, to improve your health, or to improve a relationship?

-Dh quit smoking almost 2 years ago, and has cut out Mountain Dew (he was drinking 6-12 cans a day) recently. He has lost weight and feels better about himself.
-I am sticking to an exercise routine. I want to lose weight, be healthier, and be a better role model for my girls.

The major thing I have changed over the years is my way of thinking pertaining to my mental health. I am a very positive person and refuse to wallow in the negative. I have read books, been to therapy and practice what I've learned. I can now easily feel a negative thought and let it go; not let it fester. This has been a huge accomplishment for me. I've learned that my mind controls my moods and I use it to my advantage.

Even before I found out I was pregnant, I decided to quit my job at the end of the school year. Burn out was written all over me and I knew I would be happier doing something else.

Now, I'll get to stay home with my babies.

I've changed alot over the years. The biggest change recently, however, would be my attitude towards finances. Despite set-backs and the economy, I'm feeling more in control because I'm taking a more active role in where it goes.

When I was first married, I felt responsible for my dh's behavior so I was constantly nagging him. I finally realized that it was not healthy for our relationship and that I not responsible for anyone but myself. It made such a difference in our marriage.
