I got my MRI results back on Monday, and there is one suspicous spot (could be tumor or scar tissue) that we will be watching. Otherwise, it looked great! A friend emailed me this morning and said that she had a theory about this spot. She thought is was God's fingerprint that he left behind to remind us all that he was in control the whole time! Isn't that such a special thought?

Has God left any fingerprints on your life?

Glad to hear your results went well. My mom would have liked that "fingerprint" analogy. Doctors found a mark on a lung x ray, but there were no earlier xrays available to compare with. They said it was 98% chance it was cancer (she was a smoker who's sister died of lung cancer at age 54 - mom was 70) - and 2% chance it was nothing. They couldn't biopsy it due to the location, so they had to go in, open her ribs, and check it out. It was just a lesion - nothing. No cancer. Her surgery was on April 1. I remember when she woke up from surgery we told her she was fine - no cancer - and she said "April Fool." My mom was very faithful and she would have liked that fingerprint idea.

That is a very nice thought. No, I do not have any of God's Fingerprints on my life ... at least not one that comes to mind right now.

When will they find out about that spot for sure?

We will just be watching it as I go on maintenance chemo. I'll be having MRIs every 2-3 months. They won't do anything unless it appears to grow.

I love the fingerprint idea! I have several "fingerprints" in my life though none quite as clear as yours right now. I love looking back through tough times and seeing how God's plan was working out all along. What a testimony you will have...

Angie, I am just seeing this now (it's been crazy around here for me)

You are such an inspiration to us all. You are a fighter and that spot has nothing on you or our prayers ((HUGS))

Kick it in the BUTT! I'll add a few too, we'll scare it away!

As for what he has planned for my life, it's a mystery for me. I often ask him and wonder but never feel like I have a solid answer within myself. I'm a work in progress as they say, so may he's just there to guide me through it.

Sometimes it seems like instead of a fingerprint, I've got God's entire hand on me! (and sometimes even His foot when I really need it!)

My favorite fingerprint is my very own daughter. For years, we tried having a baby and couldn't. We finally decided to go to a Fertility Hospital, located an hour away. I knew in my heart, even if we went, it'd be practically impossible to keep up with the crazy schedule and appts. that were required, especially because the hospital was an hour away in one direction, and my dh's job was an hour away in the complete opposite direction.

The morning we were scheduled to go, I took a pregnancy test just so I could say to them, "No. I'm definitely not pregnant." While I waited that minute for the results, I prayed to God, one last time, that I wouldn't have to go to the hospital. I was absolutely shocked....I'm talking shocked....when the results were positive!

Three years of trying and the very morning we're scheduled to go to the Fertility Hospital, I find out I'm pregnant. It still amazes me! And I'm also happy to report that my next little fingerprint, a son, came along 2 1/2 years later.
