I know, you're going what? Has she lost her mind?
Just think about it, if you dress with bold patterns, do you keep your jewlery simple and vice versa -jewlery bold and clothing simple.
Is your furniture simple and your accessories (pics, shelves, collectables) bold?
or....
Are you the more daring one with bold furniture and plain accessories?

Probably...I like simple classic decorating, no clutter or 'stuff' around. I also don't often like bright colors (it really just depends), prints etc That's the way I dress too - simple, classic...not a lot of accessories, bright colors, prints etc

I dress simply and rarely wear any jewelry or accessories. My furniture is also pretty plain and so are my accessories. I guess I am not flashy at all.

For me I like simple, pretty plain furnishings for furniture, nothing bright and bold. My accessories for the walls have delicate patterns. This is similar to how I dress so it does reflect with my decorating.
Now I had an Aunt that was total opposite, she was all for bold, flashy, make a statement kind of lady with her dressing and furnishings but she was a hoot, always having fun!!

I think my 2 "styles" match up. I like bold decorating but not funky or trendy. I like dressing bold also, but I am probably a bit more "trendy". I like to watch the designers, see what they are doing for the season, and then try to duplicate it. In my home, I like to have one "statement" thing in each room. In my dressing, I like to do the same...like a bold handbag and/or shoes that are or duplicate what the designers are doing. But, I am very much a "girley girl" and my home is not.

Hmmm, I'm looking at what I am wearing and I'm looking around my house ... I think I do decorate the way that I dress and I'm not sure that is a good thing.

I wear a lot of black and chocolate brown, but I like a bright color top or scarf or shoes to make it pop. I especially love deep red. My house is decorated that way. Dark chocolate brown furniture with dark red or olive green pillows. One deep red chair that is "mine"

Now that I think about... I guess that I do. I wear a lot of basic pieces; jeans and plain color tees or sweaters, and I have to have socks and shoes that match what I am wearing (I very rarely wear white socks and tennis shoes) and accessories tend to be sentimental, like always wear my wedding ring and a claudagh (sp?) ring that was a graduation gift from my parents and usually one necklace... as far as decorating, I tend to like classic, clean lined furniture with matching pieces, or a matching bathroom, etc. And I accessorize with sentimental things like family photos. So yes I guess I do decorate like I dress.
