Default My legs are SCREAMING!

I did my leg workout yesterday, literally 1 1/2 hours of leg excercises. Then today, dh asks me to go runs stairs with him. I ran laps around the track, 1 lap then 1 set of bleachers and repeated 6 times with 2 extra sets of bleachers at the end. My legs are on fire! They don't hurt until I try to go up stairs then the literally burn. I hate to see how they feel tomorrow.

If you take some ibuprofen and ice your legs it will help a lot with the DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). Just a word of caution, if you have a hard leg workout don't follow it with another hard leg workout. You could injure yourself. Try to give yourself 24 hours between hard workouts, unless you're going to be doing something easy like a jog or walk.

Wow! HOw do your legs feel now?

All I can offer is drink LOTS of water and stretch. My knees would never let me do bleachers or stairs that way - WAY TO GO!!!

Thankfully they never got any worse and I had no problems going up steps or sitting They are all better now.
