Ok, it's wild and crazy for me.

I went outside with shorts on .... in public! I haven't done that since before kids ~ 10 years ago!

I haven't been feeling like my legs are 'public worthy'. Even though I'm 11 lbs to goal, my legs are still ghost white pale and I'm so hairy that even when I shave in the morning, I get 5 o'clock shadow by 3 in the afternoon. The hair on my legs (the whole leg) is so dark that you can see all the hair follicles even when it's shaved closely.

But today I told myself that enough was enough. I am tired of being too hot in my capris. I'm wearing shorts!

It feels rather liberating!

This is so funny to me because yesterday I actually put shorts on for the first time in about 8 years too! But I have yet to venture out in public. Though my dd's friends mom stopped by and that was a bit embarrassing. All in time all in time..... But good for you!

I can't wait to wear shorts again. I seriously don't remember the last time I wore them in public. I didn't even where them in high school. My legs have always been chuncky. Hopefully the running will solve that problem.

I know how you feel... I wore my speedo one piece swimsuit out in public, no skirt, no board shorts to the "swimming hole" at the river. My husband was so proud of me.
