I got into an interesting discussion at school today with the other Moms about who dyes their hair. ( I didn't start it. ) It turns out I was the only one of the group that didn't. I never even knew they did! I was so surprised.

Do you dye / color / highlight your hair?

I'm only 32, but already about 1/8 of my hair is grey, concentrated at my temples and in my bangs, so it is very obvious when I pull it back. The rest of my hair is very dark. I color my hair every 2-3 months, as long as I can make it. I do it myself and people are always surprised when they find out that it's colored. My dad is 58 and completely white, he got his first grey hair at 12, so I'm not surprised I am greying early since I have his hair color.

I'm a 37-year old blond who is actually going darker by the year. I don't plan on dying it any time soon.

Lucky you who have not gone gray. I started going gray at 26, but it wasn't bad enough to dye until 33. So, yep, I dye it!

I always said that when I started seeing gray hair, I wouldn't dye it. I lied! I mostly have gray hair around my forehead area, so I dye and highlight to help cover it up. It makes me feel good, and I'll do it for a few more years.

I am 37 next month and so far it hasn't been an issue. I suspect that will change someday. And then, I guess, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. It's not that I'm against it - I'm not at all - it is that I'm so lazy!
