No not all people, but when someone starts with "I can't do it because of this.." it's usually someone who will give you more excuses when you point out that you've done it and tell them how you've done it. Now if someone starts a conversation with "I'd like to do X but I'm not sure how to do it or if I can keep up my motivation" that person is someone that will listen and at least try. I'm not saying that you shouldn't tell people your weightloss success, just don't be surprised to hear more "I can't".
I'm sorry if I come of negetive, I don't mean too. I do try to encourage everyone and I LOVE showing people how to exercise, how to do it correctly and motivate them. However after a while (it took me 5 years) it just gets too frustrating and you learn to save your time and advice for someone who really is going to try. I can't begin to tell you the number of times I've done meal plans, training plans and have rearanged my schedule for someone and then get excuse after excuse.
