Do you dwell on things or are you more of a "It happened. It's done now. I'm moving on" type of person?

Depends on what it is. I don't dwell unless I feel like I need to

Depends on what was done, and how badly it hurt me or someone I love. I'm a firm believer that you can forgive but it's harder to forget.

I used to be. I know that is what held me back from being truly happy. I used to blame everyone for my unhappiness but it was me all along. The longer I held on to things and let them fester and bother me and eat away at me, the more I hated being around people and myself.

One day I just decided (which is KEY here) to let go. I often use the mantra "not my drama" or "bye gones" (from Ally McBeal) to help myself "get over" things. It does help. I let things roll off of me and not take things so personally anymore. If you can just look at things and say "it is what it is" and remove any personal sentiment to the situation, life is so much more rosier! LOL

I don't think I'm a "dweller". Things have happened in the past that are always going to stay in the back of my mind but I don't think about them often (unless something pertinent to it is brought up). I definitly don't spend time each day thinking about those things...they happened the way they happened and it is done with.

My Hubby is wonderful at just moving on from a bad situation...I wish I could be more like him, but I am definitly learning.

Hate to admit it, but yes, I am a dweller. I've been working on it lately though, and I'm finally starting to let things go a little sooner that I would have before. Ask dh though and he'll tell you that I dwell on everything, and to never get on my bad side since I also have a grudge forever. I working on that one too!

No, I don't dwell on things. Once it is said and done, it is done with me. It is hard sometimes to be around people who do dwell on things.... sometimes, I don't know how to handle it because I don't do that.
