Last fall I started the Disciple Series at my church. We met every Monday morning. It was a 34 week long study. I enjoyed having this time to grow in my faith. It forced me to crack open my bible weekly and to learn more.

The Disciple classes are starting again this fall. In fact. Disciple II starts tomorrow. The series is called: Disciple; into the word, into the world

Has anyone else studied the Disciple Bible Study classes before?

Christy,
I did Disciple 1 -11 years ago (I was preggo for dd #2 at the time). Wow that was a long time ago. My dh did the second one but I had a small baby plus a 3 year old at the time and didn't feel that I had the time to devote to it then. It is definitely a great series to do. It certainly does make you dig into that Bible on a daily/weekly basis. I have done some other shorter studies since then though.

I took Disciple II last fall. It was great. There is less reading every week than in Disciple I but there are other books you read in addition to the bible and workbook. We had a lot of really deep discussions about things going on in the world today and their impact on Christians and Christian beliefs.

Our church has offered them in the past but it's never been a time/day that worked with my schedule. Several of my mom friends from there have taken them and really enjoyed them.
