Those of you who are in your thirties and those of us who are beyond, let's define who we were in our THIRTIES compared to what we were in our teens and twenties and what we are now

Use the bullets above!

Oh boy is my stomach just beyond repair!
I had no time to pay attention to the foods I ate and exercise, what was that?

    Mid 30's
Walked into WW door and lost 30lbs!
Transformed my body from a slumpy, frumpy looking thing to a HOT MAMA!
I ENJOY exercising and eating healthy!
I ENJOY learning about the right foods that fuel your body!

Beginning Thirties:
DH and I were juggling working 12 hr. shifts with two small kids-kind of a hectic time in my life-but I wouldn't have changed any of it!

Mid Thirties:
The kids are getting older (9 and 7) and I feel like I can breath again! I loved my kids when they were babies, but for right now (preteen years), this is a little less stressful time with them. I also appreciate and love my DH now more than ever!

Early thirties - had my first child and built a house - learned so much about responsibility!

Mid thirties - had my second child and moved into yet another house - also caught my breath long enough to start taking care of myself again and got into shape for the first time since having kids

Late thirties - I guess I am still here - I will be 38 next month - so we shall see what that brings!

Boy! My experience was so different.

Spent early 30's building my career, enjoying living by myself, traveling and having a great time with soon-to-be DH. Generally living large.

Mid 30's, planning a fabulous seaside wedding (married when I was 35) and working at a fast-paced Internet startup company. Had lots of money "on paper" and could have been a millionaire if the wind had blown the right way.

Late 30's, bought house at 36, kept working at fast growing company. THEN...got laid off, lost nearly all of the money that was "on paper," had DD1 and then DS.

I wouldn't trade most of it for the world.

Early thirties-met and married my dh was established in my career.
Mid thirties- had my son and was full of self doubt about raisisng children. Career did not mean as much anymore.
38-40-had my daughtter and was slowly coming to the realization that one cannot please everyone and have it all at the same time.

Early Thirties:

I'm still here but am learning to like myself

I feel like I wear armour now and don't let a lot of my environment affect me as much

I don't read into things like I used to and I'm not overly sensitive to as much anymore

I am secure in my relationship and in my role as a mother

I am seeking new challenges. I feel that my body can do so many things and I want to challenge it to be even better

I like responsibility and am always looking to get more involved in things

I don't like my dh's work schedule. We were so used to having him around as a full time dad. It's an adjustment doing this single parenting thing.

Early 30' (where I am right now)--

Still about me but tack on another 4 to that.

Struggle but finally finding what I really want to do with my life.

More comfortable in my own skin then I ever was before (besides the weight)
