Not including books that you may have purchased or gym memberships, have you ever paid for a diet? Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, WW, etc.?

If so, what?

I have tried both Nutrisystem and WW. I love WW!

My friend did nutri system. Lost like 15 pounds...and gained it all back once her "supply" ran out!

I firmly believe that "paid diets" don't work. It's more about a complete lifestyle change/make over than it is about "treatment plans"!

I've tried Weight Watchers and wasn't impressed. I actually reached my goal (and kept the weight off) using a plan similar to LA Weight Loss. It was amazing! I am thinking about trying to lose 10 more pounds and that will be the plan I use. I like that once I have the plan, I can go on it again without having to join.

I paid for WW after my first child and lost 40 pounds. Then I got pregnant with the second, and can't afford to go back so I do the program on my own.

I did WW for years & finally quit when I realized I can gain weight on my own without paying them a weekly fee.

That is funny! I love your wit...

I have just bought into the "different strokes for different folks" philosophy. I have worked out for years and can only think of a few times in my life when I went through a season where I didn't. It is just part of who I am. But, like anyone in the fitness industry will tell you, it takes more than working-out to look optimal.

So, I do best when I have some camaraderie in my weight loss journeys. I think that is why I like WW so much...it's the "group" thing.

However, different people = different metabolisms = different methods for weight loss.

I love WW. Lost 40 lbs a few years back and kept it off until last year (knee surgery that led to back issues). I tried the online WW this past summer and found it did not work for me. I'm starting the meetings again on November 1st. It's what works for me!
