General Mills to stop use of rBGH milk in Yoplait

I am very pleased about this! Come August, Yoplait yogurt will no longer use milk that has the chemical rBST in it.

As I have mentioned on here before I cannot afford organic dairy products and, instead, I look for rBST free products. rBST, though studies claim it has no ill effects on humans when consumed, DOES have ill effects on the cows that are injected with it. Unhealthy cows means the more likely that antibiotics and other treatments are used in that cow. That and I seriously question any dairy farmer that does not provide the best possible life for their dairy cows.

So two thumbs up for General Mills!

This is great! Eventually, they will all do the right thing as people get more educated and stop buy their products until they do. This is a step in the right direction.
