I’m not a coffee fan, but I stopped at a Starbucks this morning to get a cup of coffee before work. The average cost of a Starbucks is approximately $5. If you could bring your own coffee even 2-3 times a week, you could save about $300 a year. In the meanwhile, you can also reduce waste of those one-time-use coffee cups.

If you have to order coffee from a store, make sure you bring your own coffee mug. Some stores will even give you a discount for it.

Every morning, I leave for work with a travel mug of coffee in my hand and a thermos full of coffee in my lunch bag.

We have pots of coffee in all the break rooms. I have to bring my own tea, however, as they no longer provide tea bags.

So do I!

But once a week, after I weigh in at WW, I stop at Starbucks for a lowfat vanilla coffee. That is my treat to myself for staying on my diet.

And if I can't afford $3 once a week, DH needs to get a second job

It's only pricey if you get the really fancy drinks. I try to get the normal coffee or iced coffee and it's only 2-3 dollars.

That definitely adds up though! It's probably pennies to make at home.

That made me laugh. I think 2 or 3 IS pricey for a coffee. Don't get me wrong, I DO love me an occasional starbucks, cause mine has to be 'foo foo-ed' up with the milk and sugar free vanilla. I make them at home but they're not QUITE as perfect

We always do this. I fix the coffee pot at night and set the timer to start the coffee at 5am. Dh has a large thermos and can take almost the whole pot to work with him.
