Ever wonder if there are any other uses for tennis balls besides throwing them to the dogs?

Here are a few ideas, please add your own ideas to the list!

*Fluff down-filled clothes and comforters
You can fluff them up again in the dryer by tossing a couple of tennis balls in when drying them .

* Sand curves in furniture
Wrap a tennis ball in sandpaper and use it to sand curves when you're refinishing furniture.

*Keep swimming pools oil-free
Float a couple of tennis balls in your swimming pool to absorb body oils from swimmers. Replace ever couple of weeks when the pool is in high use.

*Store your valueable at the gym
Make a 2 in slit at the seam of a tennis ball, when working out at the gym store your valueables in the ball and keep the ball in your gym bag. If anyone gets into you stuff they won't think about looking inside a tennis ball for your valueables.

To ease a tension headache, place two tennis balls inside a tube sock and tie the end shut. Lie down with the sock at the base of your skull for about ten minutes. The pressure of the tennis balls against the occipitus muscles will cause them to relax.

I just picked up a few at my physiotherepists request... Put them against a wall and roll them against any tight, sore muscles. Feels great

I stole this idea from DS#1 school back in the day. I have tennis balls on the legs of the kitchen chairs to save my flooring! Once DS#2 is a little older then I will ditch this but until then...

I also use a tennis ball to guide me when parking in the garage. Hang a tennis ball from a string at a spot on the ceiling so that when the car touches the ball with the windshield you know to stop.

Sometimes we take a can of tennis balls to the park with us and hit them back and forth across a net with racquets.

For hearing impaired students in school, it is recommended taht they are put on the bottom of all the chairs and desks to cut down on the noise taht can be amplified in children's hearing aids and hearing FM systems.

FIL has them on the back legs of his walker. Supposed to keep him from slipping.
