- Use the fronts to make gift tags
- Cut out the front and glue to blank cardstock to use again
- Cut out the photos from photo cards and let kids that are old enough create a "friends" scrapbook out of them

Any other ideas?

I take the front of the cards and glue them to cereal boxes and also some cardboard from other things and them cut out. Then mod podge them and cut them into squares and the kids instantly have new holiday puzzles!

I've also been known to use the pictures and place them in frames in lines of 3 up and down my hall and change the pictures through-out the month of december

There are a lot of crafty sites out there that use card fronts! Here's one of the top of my head:

What you need:
3 Christmas cards
a circle to trace
pencil
scissors
glue, probably a hot glue gun
ribbon, yarn or string
hole punch

First trace the prettiest section of the card with your circle. Then cut out the circle. The size doesn't matter as long as they are all the same.

Decide what will be the top. Punch a hole.

Next, bend each side of the circle, just a small section, about 1/4" to 1/2" from back to front.

Glue the bent portions to each other, creating a triangle. If you aren't using a hot glue gun, you may want to paper clip the sections until they dry.

After the glue is dry, thread you ribbon through the holes. You can make this part as fancy as you want.

Done! YOu have a pretty ornament for the tree, mantle or something to add to a wreath.

Enjoy!

Feel free to ask if this need clarification.

I laminate the fronts, cut them into puzzle pieces and use them to group my students.

If you're a card maker, you can use them as 'blanks' and 'recover' with your own work

I buy red card stock at Michaels (package of 50) with my 50% off coupon $4.49

I take the front of the cards given to me off

I use scrapbooking scissors and cut around the image or the front of the card I just removed to give it a "new" look

I glue it to the front of the new card stock

I print off a favorite Christmas poem that I keep every year and glue it to the inside

I then sign it with all our names

On the back I use my "made with love" stamp and sign my name there too

I cut the prettiest ones into bookmarks and have dh take them to his school and run them through the laminator. Hole punch the top and loop a yarn tassel through it. They make nice little gifts, and I have all year to work on them because I use the cards from the year before. Like snowflakes, no two are alike.
