I don't have a huge freezer, but I don't think I could surrvive without it!!! If I did not have it, I would have to go to the grocery store way more frequently!!! Everything gets used. When I make a grocery list, I always look in the freezers and cupboards to see what we have that I can use. In our old house we had 3 freezers and 2 refrigerators. It was great since we lived in the middle of nowhere and I grocery shopped for our family of 8 less than once a month. Now that we live in a town, I only have 1 refrigerator and 2 freezers. I buy alot of the big bulk frozens at Sam's Club.

I don't have one, but I would love to get one. Maybe not to fill to the brim, but just to free up some space in the kitchen freezer that is overflowing... Everytime I open it something falls out at me

I'm not sure that it simplifies, but is a good tool for being frugal. You can save a lot of money by stocking up during good sales, but have to be diciplined to use it up before it gets freezer burned. It does take some planning, but I don't think I could live without mine.
