Hmmm...another day in the search for simplicity. What needs to go this time?

I think that DD's bookshelf is looking a wee bit stuffed. Today, I am weeding out 5 books she no longer reads...probably the board books she has grown out of, and put them in a box for donation. If you are feeling really motivated...get rid of 10.

I love books, dd loves books, but do we really need 5,000 of them around? We go to the library on a weekly basis, so why do we still feel the need to own them all? Another lightbulb moment in the quest for simple living.

Hmmm...this is a good idea. I think I will recycle 5 magazines that I don't want and 5 of dh's that he no longer wants. I don't know why I stockpile magazines, but I do. I like to go back and read a lot of the past articles.

Oh ouch, right in the heart! I love books and can't ever seem to get rid of them. I will try though but I can definitely get rid of a couple magazines.
