I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to keep my college yearbooks. They are enormous, and although I loved my college days, I have never cracked open one of these massive tomes since the day I graduated. I have other mementos of college life that mean more to me.

So, the survey question is:

have you kept yours?

Yes I do plan to keep the yearbooks! And I don't keep much.

Once at a white elephant gift exchange a friend said, "I hope I don't get something from you, you guys are purgers. You have nothing left to get rid of!" I took it as a compliment.

But I could never bring myself to get rid of my yearbooks.

I only have my senior yearbook from high school, so I will keep it. It has a very sweet  message from my favorite teacher who I LOVED, and this is kind of sad, but when I am depresed, every once in a while I go and read it.

I only have high school year books so I keep them. I like to look back and ask myself what was I thinking? It was big purple spiky hair then so I always have a good laugh.

I only bought my senior year in high school and my final year in college and I plan to keep both of them. I look at it as something I've accomplished and had so many memories from my past attached to it. And I have opened it (everytime we clean out the garage) and laughed at some of the things people wrote in them thinking how silly we were.

Honestly- I never even bought a college yearbook. They were so expensive and most of my friends were different levels than I was so I just didn't spend it. I did keep my h.s. senior yearbook and will hang on to it- i still keep in close contact with several people and occasional contact with many. If nothing else, it will give my girls a laugh when they are in h.s.

High School Yes...College No

Although I enjoyed my college years I only keep in touch with one girlfriend. I could never get rid of my high school yearbooks. I enjoy pulling them out every once in a while and reading all of the messages that were written inside.
