I'm on my way to a totally decluttered home!! For once in my life.. *blush* We have 3 kids, and 1 on the way in 3 mos. so i've almost reached my goal of a totally decluttered home!

I make a list of the last of my hot spots to declutter.. this was my New Years Goal.. i've been working on decluttering my place since New Years Eve (yes, we have no life, I decluttered my computer desk on New Years Eve.. LOL!!). Does anyone else have a list of stuff they're working on? It's so nice to be decluttered, clean, caught up on laundry all the time, etc..

Here's my list and i'm going to check things off one by one as I accomplish things.. anyone else want to join me in decluttering/organizing some hot spots??

*Kitchen Cupboards
*Under main bathroom sink *DONE*
*Under bedroom bathroom sink
*Big Book shelf *DONE*
*Under ds' bed *DONE*
*Shelf above kitchen cupboard *DONE*
*Night table in bedroom *DONE*
*Entertainment center in bedroom *DONE*
*Youngest dd's clothes *DONE*
*End of bed *DONE*

*Pots & pans (donate old pots/pans) *DONE*

I think my entire house is a hot spot right now! I've been getting involved in too much and not keeping my house up so I'm definitely in~

*Under kitchen table
*Cabinets above kitchen table (notice a theme?)
*Credenza
*Corner of Bar
*Entertainment Center
*My Clothes
*Under the bed on my side...electrical cords and what not
*Drawer in night stand
*Spare room "closet"--shoes!
*Craft shelves--organize and label supplies

I've been decluttering all morning. I do this major decluttering about once every 3 months. I have a special spot designated in our basement to garage sale items. A couple bins are closed storage for this and one is an old laundry basket, cuz it's easier for me to just toss something in, in a hurry. I also keep a give away laundry basket for easy tossing, and transporting.
Each year the more I put into that garage sale pile is getting smaller, that's a good sign, I think. I also trash a ton, mostly things that are broken, torn or paper clutter type stuff...(and mostly in my DD's room!)

This morning I did.
My DD's room
2 drawers and one cabinet in the kitchen
My Laundry room
Our basement storage area

I have a tad bit more to do this afternoon, maybe a couple cupboards in the kitchen....

I'm on board. I've actually been MIA for a while but try to check in quickly once a day to see what the declutter challenge or five for the road things are for each day. I can't be on here like I use too but I want to keep up with the simple living, the decluttering and saving $$$, spending less. I won't be able to post much, but know I'm here in spirit.

So far I've already done: (since January)
my bedroom closet
my dresser
dd's closet
dd's dresser
dd's book shelf
coat closet
toy bin in the living room
bathroom cabinets

Still need to do:
garage
hallway linen closet
probably about 4 or 5 of our kitchen cabinets
get dh to go through his dresser
dd's toy box
computer desk
