I realized I decorate (at least something small) for every holiday - Christmas, Thanksgiving, St. Patrick, Valentine, Mardi Gras, Fourth of July, Halloween, Easter...

I think this is fun, but takes up room and energy. I really really want to simplify more and think this might be an area I can do away with.

Curious what the rest of you do?

Erica

I decorate for all holidays. Christmas is my big one, but every holiday gets a little something. Right now, I have a cute Valentine wreath hanging on my front door and a vine heart wreath in the center of my table. I grew up with my mom doing all this, too, and I know that it is a tradition my own kids will carry on (as they are the first to remind me of a new month, new holiday!!!).

We just got our Christmas decorations down... I don't think I could handle decorating for more than one holiday! I go all-out for Christmas, and leave it up late Nov-January. We do a little for Halloween/Harvest theme, but that's it. Too stressful otherwise!

I don't really decorate for anything until Thanksgiving time. I have some iron leaves that I put out on the coffee table and some scarecrows.

We did put up a few halloween decorations this year because we are living in a run down spooky looking house! lol But I've never decorated for halloween before and doubt I will again.

I decorate like mad for Christmas though. I have something for nearly every room. Except for the bedroom.

I decorate for Halloween & Christmas only. But I dont go overboard cause Im the one that takes them down. Plus I dont have a lot of room to store all the decorations. I keep it small and simple.

I'd like to do more, especially if we have kids. I grew up in a home where Mom decorated for every month, (and still does) and I just think that is so homey.
