Tons of things...

Found a hairstyle that didn't require a curling iron (will never go back to that)

Stoped checking online sales (there will always be something there to tempt me)

I've been trying to throw out clutter. It's liberating.

Wow once you get through it the third time it's scary how little you actually keep because you just don't need it! Working on my closet. Turning loose of clothes that I never wear but am keeping them just so I do'nt panic when I peer into the closet and then I won't feel like there is nothing to wear. T here isn't anyway but all those clothes aren't helping matters. That's about it for now. Mostly going through things at least three times. I'm headed to the bookshelf next

Wow-

Great idea to go through stuff more than once... I went back today and had a second look at my closet and decided there are more things I can let go of... took a dress I never wear over to my sister's and she loved it so much she put it on and wore it the whole visit. Her happiness reminded me that my clutter is a treasure for someone else. That makes it a lot easier to let go.

Love the 'going through things 3 times' idea. Will use that one tomorrow when cleaning out my bathroom/closet!

I'm always getting lost somewhere, I have no sense of direction. So everytime I go someplace new I do a mapquest and print it out. I keep these in with my maps in the car. It has made finding my way around and not wasting time so much easier if I need to go there again and it's been awhile or I need to go somewhere near where I've already been and it's been awhile. I was famous for getting places and taking forever to get there because of not knowing the shortest routes, now I get around pretty well and keep all pages for reference.

Pruged my house of anything not used in the last year excpet for pictures and special keepsakes but limited those too. Don't want to be a packrat! It's a huge drain of time, money, and energy.

Well I hate clutter, so I don't have that much of a problem. Every month or so I go through the house and anything we don't use I sell on Craigslist.org or give on Freecycle.org. I have started the Menu planning to cut out on eating out.

What is the one thing I have done to de-simplify my life...Geting hooked on all these new MS forums and features!
