By section: Longaberger recipe basket, utensil crock
Knife block, coffee pot, pottery platter in stand
Pottery pump bottles for dish soap and hand soap
2 canisters
peninsula- empty
island- empty
I also have a big kitchen and it might look a little sparse, but it is so easy to clean and I feel more relaxed without the clutter. I have a ton of kitchen "stuff" but thankfully, I also have a lot of cabinet space so it is all put away. I have so many cabinets and drawers though that I cannot afford the new hardware that I want for them... I guess they are a blessing and a curse!!

We have a microwave, coffee pot, kitchen aid mixer, paper towel holder, and knife block. Those are the only things that stay and don't go anywhere else.
I was just at my aunt and uncles this wekend and my aunt HATES to have anything on the countertop (all her life she's been like this ) my uncle broke her and she 'allows' a knife block and canister set. That' s it . ido have ot admit she has a smaller kitchen but it looks larger without anything on the countertops!
If I could figure out what to do with some of my smaller stuff I'd put it away too!

I like to keep my counters as clutter free as possible. My sister would LOL if she heard (or read) me saying that! I only have canisters, a small crock for utensils, microwave, bread box (we don't keep bread in it though, just junk! LOL), a few candles, and usually a small pile of papers/bills that I just don't know what else to do with. There is quite a bit of counter space though, so I do have a lot of room to work with. I also do not like dirty dishes in my sink.. clean dishes are ok, although I like when no dishes are there.

Same here! But, I do have an appliance "garage" or whatever you call it, so it stores my 2! coffee makers out of sight, and my coffee grinder. We have 2, because FIL lives with us and we don't like the same coffee maker, so we have different ones. I've also got my Senseo, Ice Tea makers, an antique wine carafe and glass set (with a holder), a bread basket, paper towel holder, stand mixer, toaster oven and some knick knack things, not to mention all the crap I store above the cabinets. There is about a 1 foot space between the cabinets and the ceiling. I do have a fairly large kitchen, but it's still cluttered with all that. I'm lucky my microwave is above the stove/under the cabinets and I have a wine glass rack under another cabinet. Whew!

Oops! I just realized that doesn't include all of the plants on the breakfast bar counter! Along with more knick knacks! Ugh!

We have a large kitchen. We have lots and lots of countertop area plus an island in the middle. I HATE clutter with a passion. So, we have on the countertops: A picture frame I painted robin's egg blue with a picture of a white hyacinth in it. Tiny coffee maker. Ornate silver sugar bowl next to it. My ipod speaker stand (small as a dessert plate), this is 'hidden' by my grandmother's silver round silver platter in a small plate stand in a corner, it stands up. A robin's egg blue vase with pussy willows in it. Um, that's it!! We have 40 feet counter space so this makes it look even bigger.

I don't like anything on my counters...I just have a crock by the stove with all my wooden spoons in it and then another crock on the other side with metal utensils. Everything else I put away.
